10 Ways To Enhance Your Guided Imagery Visualization Every Time

Find a quiet, peaceful place. This is the first and most important step
to powerful guided imagery visualization. To get the most out of the
process of visualizing, you have to be able to concentrate fully. If
you're distracted by other things (as most of us are in our daily lives)
you cannot get the full benefit from your visualization.

It's best if you can locate a quiet place where you won't be disturbed.
If you're in a room, close the door behind you and let others know
that you need some "thinking" time alone. It's probably best not to tell
others that you're having a guided imagery visualization session, unless
you're sure they will be supportive and not critical.

Sit up in a comfortable chair where you can keep your back straight.
Your personal comfort is of prime importance here. If you prefer, you can
lie down, but you'll have to pay attention so you don't fall asleep.
As you go into a deep state of relaxation, falling asleep is often a
natural reaction. If you can lie down and stay awake, fine. But if you
think you have a tendency to nod off, sit up straight in a chair and let
the energy flow through you.

Relax by taken deep breaths. Now it's time to begin your guided imagery
visualization session. But first, you need to get completely relaxed
and there's no better way to accomplish this then by taking a series of
long, slow, deep breaths.

Breathe in deeply... hold your breath for a few seconds... exhale and
hold your breath again. Don't push it. You want to oxygenate your cells
and relax your body and mind at the same time. As you doing this deep
breathing exercise, focus on each breath and let all other thoughts
drift away.

Choose your desire. Once you've cleared your mind of the myriad of
thoughts, it's time to identify your point of intention. Whatever it is you
seek to get from this guided imagery process -- that's what you must
decide on now. Take your most pressing problem you'd like to solve... or
your strongest desire. Pick one objective only and make it the central
focus of your visualization.

Imagine yourself in the scene. This is a crucial component, yet it's
something often neglected in visualization training sessions. As you
listen to your guided imagery recording, be sure to connect with your goal.
Most people tend to think of their goal as something that's "out
there" somewhere. Maybe it's the perfect job they're seeking... or better
grades in school... or perhaps it's a new house.

Whatever the goal, make yourself a part of it. See yourself already in
the occupation you want. Visualize your grades climbing higher and
higher, month after month. Imagine yourself occupying the home of your
dreams. Put yourself in the picture and make it yours now.

Assume whatever you want is yours now. Wishing alone is powerless.
Visualizing is not mere wishing but the creation of an outcome you desire
by engaging source energy - the ultimate power supply.

You set your intention, focus on it, and assume that it's already
yours. In other words, it's a deep knowing within you that whatever you want
is now on the way.

Activate desirable feelings. Feelings are the fuel needed to get your
dream off the launching pad and to take you wherever you want to go.

Feel the joy... the satisfaction... the pride... the excitement... and
the gratitude that you will feel when you are in actual possession of
what it is you seek. Lock these feelings into your memory and relive
them often. That's how you make the magic of guided imagery visualization
work for you.
